Ebben Tree Nursery, winner 2016

Ebben Tree Nursery in Cuijk has won the Horticulture Entrepreneur Prize 2016. The company, which specialises in naturally-shaped, multi-stemmed trees, focuses considerable attention on international, market-oriented activities. Managing Director Toon Ebben received the prize, a work of art, during the festive awards ceremony on 6 January , in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Máxima. The judges were of the opinion that Ebben Tree Nursery excelled in maintaining national and international relations, with considerable attention to communication at all levels in the supply chain. The activities of Ebben Tree Nursery are geared towards exchange of knowledge, openness and promotion of the sector. The care given to sustainability of the living environment and soil improvement is unique. As winner of the Horticulture Entrepreneur Prize 2016, Ebben Tree Nursery will serve as an ambassador for the sector for the coming year.
